About

A commitment to adapt and improve requires support,
challenge and measurable outcomes.

My Background

I have spent over 25 years advising a broad range of companies including major multinationals, private equity backed businesses and many FTSE 100 companies.  As a Managing Partner of the UK Search firm GKR, I co-lead the sale of this business to Whitehead Mann group plc in 2000.

I was appointed Managing Partner of the Consumer practice and was involved in taking the business private with financial backing from a US private equity fund. We then sold the business to Korn Ferry International, the world’s largest leadership consulting firm in 2009.

At Korn Ferry I led the UK Consumer team and also led the Leisure & Hospitality practice across Europe, Middle East and Africa. I served as an Advisory Board Member on the World Tourism Forum from 2012 to 2015.

I am a graduate of the well renowned Meyler Campbell Coaching Programme which has full accreditation from the WABC (Worldwide Association of Business Coaches).

My Philosophy

Coaching or Mentoring is a dialogue that requires commitment on both sides to work in a determined and unselfish manner towards an agreed goal(s). An authentic, open-minded and reflective approach can be a powerful driver towards sustained improvement in performance.

Leaders are often looking to overcome barriers to progress and need time and reflection to set targets and shape outcomes.

Agreeing specific targets and measuring outcomes helps to validate the cost and benefit of coaching and mentoring interventions and strives to prevent inaction.
